Everything you need to sell here

You don't need an invitation or an application. Create an account, then open Create your storefront, give your shop a name and a short story, and you're set up. Assisted help is optional.

Before your first listing goes on sale you'll be asked to read and accept the Seller Agreement. It's recorded with the version you actually saw, and you'll only be asked again if something material changes.

Account owners and seller representatives must be 18 or older and have authority to act for the work being sold.

Your storefront carries your name, story, logo and banner, plus your own categories and featured shelves. Everything can be edited later, and drafts save as you work.

You can invite other people to help manage your shop. Managers act on your behalf, so only invite people you trust with listings and orders.

Print editions

Paperback and hardcover are fulfilled by you. Set the price, stock and delivery options — shipping, local pickup, or both. We don't print, warehouse or ship anything.

Ebook files

• Upload .epub or .pdf — those are the two formats the in-app reader can open, so please supply one of them.
• The uploader also accepts .kpf (Kindle Create). A .kpf file can be sold and downloaded, but it cannot be read in the app. If .kpf is all you have, add an .epub or .pdf edition too.
• Other digital attachments: .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .zip.
• Upload limit: 50 MB per file.
• Cover image: a clear portrait cover; it's used everywhere your book appears.

Buyers can always download the file you uploaded; reading it inside the app works for EPUB and PDF only. Whether a file works on a Kindle depends on the format you supply and the buyer's own transfer method — that's outside our control, so don't promise it in your description.

An audiobook is a format of a work, not a separate book. Add it to a book you already manage, or create an audio-only title. Credit your narrator — narrators are a distinct role from authors.

• Upload chapters individually; order them, and the order is what listeners hear.
• A separate short sample is required before the edition can go on sale.
• Full recordings are stored privately and only ever served to a paying owner through short-lived, checked links.
• Listening happens in the app with chapter navigation and saved progress. There are no downloadable or exportable audio files, and we don't promise offline listening.

An audiobook edition only becomes purchasable once it has a sample, at least one chapter and a price. Editing the print or ebook side of a work never disturbs the audiobook.

• Upload audio files and cover art from the music section of your shop.
• A 60-second preview is generated for you — you don't upload one.
• Buyers play tracks in the app and can download the purchased files.
• You may price a track or album at $0. Free music has no checkout fee and no platform cut; listeners claim it straight into their library.

Music sits in its own catalogue. A song is never an audiobook, and an audiobook is never listed as a track.

Artwork and photography are listed with their own variants and licence. Buyers download the files you supply under the licence shown on the listing. Original files stay private; only the previews you publish are public.

Free to join. No listing, setup or subscription fee. On each sale:

• 9% seller fee, deducted from your earnings. It already includes ordinary payment processing and platform promotion.
• 6% buyer service fee, paid by the buyer on top. It supports the platform, support and the buyer's library, and is not taken from you.
• Both are calculated on the actual discounted item price, excluding sales tax and shipping.

On a $20 item: your fee is $1.80 and you receive $18.20; the buyer pays $21.20 before tax and shipping. You keep 91% of the discounted item price — not 91% of the buyer's total.

Sales, promotions and shopper spend tiers reduce the item price before fees are worked out, so a discount lowers your fee as well as your earnings. Nothing that reduces what you earn is applied without your approval — we never enrol you in a seller-funded discount automatically, and we don't promise advertising spend.

Buyers follow the payment instructions shown at checkout and submit a confirmation code. Access follows payment approval. There is no integrated card processor on the site, and we never store card numbers.

• Digital items (ebooks, audiobooks, music, art) are delivered automatically the moment payment is approved. There's nothing for you to do.
• Physical items are yours: printing, packing, postage, pickup arrangements and physical returns. Update each order in your dashboard as it moves along, and mark it delivered or picked up when the buyer has it.
• You receive the buyer contact, order and shipping details you need for your own orders — and only for your own orders. That isn't permission to add them to a mailing list.

• Payouts run on a monthly schedule.
• A payout is sent once your net eligible balance reaches $100. Anything below rolls forward — nothing is forfeited.
• Earnings become eligible once an item is delivered or picked up and funds have cleared. Digital items reach that point automatically on payment approval; physical items reach it when you mark them delivered or picked up. Marking an order shipped or in transit does not by itself make it eligible.
• Payment is made within 30 days of both conditions being met. There is no extra hold stacked on top of the monthly run.
• Statements are itemised, including refund adjustments.
• Closing your shop? You can request your final balance regardless of the threshold, subject to open orders, refunds and disputes.

Rates already applied to past orders never change retroactively.

Where something went wrong — duplicate purchase, item unavailable, a broken or inaccessible file, a pricing error — the buyer is refunded the item, applicable tax, their 6% service fee, and unused shipping. Your 9% fee on the refunded amount is reversed back to you.

Change-of-mind returns of physical goods are discretionary and yours to run under your own store policy. Where the law allows it and it was clearly disclosed before purchase, the buyer's 6% service fee may be retained on that kind of return — in which case the exact retained amount and the exact refund total are shown, and it's never described as a full refund. Digital change-of-mind refunds stay discretionary, and mandatory consumer rights always apply.

Orders placed under an earlier policy keep whatever treatment was more favourable to the buyer at the time. Full detail: Refunds & Cancellations.

You keep your copyright. When you list something you're confirming you hold or have cleared the rights to:

• the text and artwork;
• for audio, both the recording (master) and the underlying composition;
• any samples, interpolations or quoted material;
• the performers and narrators involved;
• cover images and photographs;
• and that no exclusivity contract elsewhere prevents you selling it here.

You grant a non-exclusive licence to host your work, make the technical copies needed to deliver and play it, display it, sell and deliver it, stream it, and promote it using covers, descriptions and short samples in listings, email and social posts — with limited sublicensing only to the service providers needed to do that. No ownership transfer, and no AI training rights.

Storefronts and new listings are reviewed before going on sale. We may approve, ask for changes, decline, unlist or suspend for fit, quality, rights, safety, accuracy or legal reasons. See the Content Policy.

Unlisting stops new sales. It does not touch anyone's existing purchase: buyers keep their licence, their library access and their ability to re-download ebooks, music and art files. Audiobooks stay playable in the app.

The same holds if you leave the platform entirely. Because of that, listings with paid purchases are archived rather than destroyed — paid access can't be deleted out from under someone who bought it. You remain able to fulfil open orders, issue refunds and reconcile after you stop selling.
